I think there should be some quid pro quo between college graduates and their alma matters...
If we have to abide by that honor code blah blah, they shouldn't call us for donations until AFTER we've paid off our tens of thousands of dollars of student loan debt.
I'm just saying.

Unfortunately, I owe more than my mortgage on student loans for my 3 kids. The last of whom will graduate next year, so I can at least stop making the problem bigger. My alma mater has their hand out as well.
So when Syracuse, Clarkson, Penn State and SUNY Fredonia call, I just ask them who I should not pay so I can donate to them!
